The Strokes - Is this it
Bueno pues aqui me tienen de nuevo les vengo a presentar este disco: Is this it.
La banda son The Strokes supongo que algunos los conocemos y algunos pues no asi que aqui va una breve historia de ellos. Para empezar ellos son Julian Casablancas que es el vocalista, Nikolai Freiture que es bajista, Nick Valensi en la lira y Fabrizio Moretti en la bataca. Solo les puedo decir que son muy buenos y que su estilo es algo realmente mistico, al escuchar algun cd de ellos en especial este es como si te trasladaras a algun hemisferio inexistente del planeta en el que solo estas tu y ellos en un cuarto blanco, para mi esta banda es una de las mejores de la actualidad.
Entrando de lleno al disco pues ha sido uno de los mejor catalogados por las revistas y demas medios, es con el que los Strokes se dieron a conocer y en el que su estilo no era bien definido y por lo tanto sonaban extraño, talvez muy extraño.. pero extrañamente perfecto, lo que mas me gusta de este disco es que las canciones te trasladan a un punto de tu vida, incluso talvez no de tu vida hasta de una pelicula pero a la cancion que mas me refiero al decir esto es a "Someday" si, una cancion que lleva una guitarrita que te atrapa desde el principio, y que tan solo escuchandola se despierta un sentimiento entre nostalgia y alegria que nos lleva a recordar buenos tiempos, a mi asi me pasó y al ver que en la letra decia "In many ways they´ll miss the good old days" pues me cague. Hay una rola la de "New York City Cops" que en la edición para EU la reemplazaron por "When it Started" creo que por algo de los ataques de las torres gemelas. También una buena cancion a mi me encanta por su letra y armonía con su música es Alone, together que dice varias cosillas que son llegadoras.
En fin para terminar, el disco es muy bueno y porsupuesto es muy recomendable descárguenlo y vean la talla de esta banda.
